CASCADE e le scuole

Il progetto CASCADE non è solo ricerca, ma anche divulgazione e condivisione al pubblico.

I tecnici ArpaFVG hanno presentato il progetto presso la scuola Jožef Stefan, Istituto Tecnico Industriale in lingua Slovena a Trieste. Lo scopo dell’attività, oltre promuovere l’importanza della ricerca nella tutela della biodiversità, è coinvolgere gli studenti con un approccio concreto che gli permetta di rendersi protagonisti dell’esperienza. Seguiranno, infatti, attività pratiche in campo in cui i ragazzi avranno l’occasione di imparare a usare strumenti e tecniche adottati dai ricercatori durante i campionamenti del progetto.

The project CASCADE is not just research, much attention is given in reporting and sharing our activities with general public and schools.

ArpaFVG technicians presented the project to the Jožef Stefan school, Industrial Technical Institute in Slovenian in Trieste. Activities like this are important for many reasons. First of all, promoting the importance of research in biodiversity protection to a young audience, but also to encourage the students to be protagonists in environmental conservation. Indeed, an applied fieldwork experience will follow and the scholars will have the chance to learn how to use tools and techniques employed by the researchers.
